How to Prep Your Kid's Skin Before Face Painting
A few small things that make face paint go on smoother, last longer, and come off easier at the end of the night.
Clean, dry skin is really all you need. Heavy lotion or sunscreen applied right before painting can make the paint slide around or not stick evenly, so if you can, apply those a little earlier in the day instead of right before we start.
If your kid has any active skin irritation, sunburn, a rash, or something like pink eye going around, it's best to skip painting that area (or skip painting altogether) until it clears up - I'll always ask, but it helps to mention it up front.
Other than that, just come as you are. I'll handle the rest.
